Bought this tool for the specific reason to do a forced regeneration on my Vauxhall Insignia however after performing all relevant updates there still seems to be nothing in the tools menu to do this , can anyone help.

It would be more helpful if you could also send them a data log file from Engine ECU with all the live data.................

I would buy this product for the same reason and the same car. Did you manage to make forced regeneration?

The car is an Opel Insginia (Vauxall Insignia). Year 2009, model Essentia.

    Thanks

Hi all, I also have an Insignia. Bought the Maxicheck DPF due to ongoing problems with the passive and active ECU based regeneration. However the unit had been used as per instruction manual. Which incidentally doesn't match the screen on the unit!!. Anyway I the unit came up with 2 errors 1) DPF sensor issue which had been replaced the day beforehand pipes checked and electrical contacts checked all good there. 2)blocked DPF. Went to the main menu to erase code and force a regeneration, no option given for this so unlike the units spec, it seems not to have an option to force the regen.
So is it a software issue unit issue or just a complete waste of money as another unit I have will do the code checks at 10% of the cost!!
